Shanenawa rapé at Mycotrop

Only one blend in the shop carries the Shanenawa name, so this page is short. Caneleiro comes from the same supplier as several other blends in the main Rapé category that are named after a people; its supplier reference RASN01 matches the references RASN01-10 and RASN01-50 on the product page. The supplier sells further pack sizes, while Mycotrop stocks 10 g and 50 g. Rapeh and hapé are other spellings of rapé that you may come across. Like every item in the shop, Caneleiro is sold strictly as a collectible or souvenir item.

The Shanenawa, according to the supplier

The supplier links the Shanenawa to Acre, a state in the western Brazilian Amazon, and describes them as an Indigenous people. Some of their villages, it says, lie within the Katukina/Kaxinawá Indigenous Land in the municipality of Feijó. It renders the name as “people of the blue bird”, with shane standing for a blue bird and nawa read as “people”. The supplier does not say who prepared the Caneleiro blend or where. Mycotrop passes on this information without having verified it independently.
