About the Yawanawá
The Instituto Socioambiental (ISA) places the Yawanawá in the southern part of the Terra Indígena Rio Gregório, in the municipality of Tarauacá, Acre. According to ISA, it was the first Indigenous territory to be demarcated in Acre, and it lies at the headwaters of the Gregório, a tributary of the Juruá. The product writes the name Yawanawa without the accent. It identifies the range and is not a statement about who made this blend or where.
