About Erythrina mulungu

Erythrina mulungu Mart. ex Benth. is an accepted species in the World Checklist of Vascular Plants. Bentham published the name in 1859 in Martius's Flora Brasiliensis, taking it up from Martius. Its native range covers south-eastern and west-central Brazil, Bolivia, Paraguay and north-eastern and north-western Argentina. Names now listed as synonyms include Corallodendron mulungu, Erythrina dominguezii and Erythrina chacoensis. The supplier gives mulungu as its common name.

The bottle and its label

The cover photo shows a dark glass bottle with a black dropper cap and a blue label printed with Maya, Mulungu and Tincture, the ingredients and the volume, 30 ml. The ratio is not printed on the visible part of the label; it comes from the supplier's product title and text. If you are comparing mulungu products, the mulungu 4:1 dry bark extract is a powder sold in 10 g or 50 g, and the shredded mulungu bark comes in 50 g, 250 g or 1 kg. All tinctures and liquid extracts are listed under Extracts.

Packaging and delivery

All products are sold strictly as collectible or souvenir items. Orders are prepared on business days and shipped in neutral outer packaging that does not describe the contents.
