One species, many names
Whatever the selection name, the plant is the same species. The World Checklist of Vascular Plants, maintained at Kew, accepts Banisteriopsis caapi in the Malpighiaceae and lists no varieties under it, so Napo Cielo is a seller’s name rather than a botanical variety. Plant name databases collected by GBIF record many vernacular names for the species, among them caapi, ayahuasca, yagé, mariri and soulvine. The checklist gives its native range as Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, parts of Brazil and north-western Argentina. Peru, the origin printed on this pouch, lies within that range.
What the photos show

The material is cut into small, light-brown woody chips, visibly finer than the long fibrous strips of the shredded Yellow Ayahuasca.
