Mokum, a Psilocybe truffle strain by Mycotek
Mokum is the name Mycotek prints on one of its magic truffle pouches, and Mycotrop lists the product as Psilocybe Mokum. It is sold by weight, each pouch holding either 15 g or 25 g, with the heavier one preselected when the page opens. Inside are sclerotia, hardened lumps of fungal mycelium; a mushroom with cap and stem is another part of the fungus altogether. Whichever weight you choose, you get the same Mycotek strain.

Reading the Mokum label
The pouch front is black, with luminous teal lines curving up both edges and fine gold contour lines in the upper right corner. The brand name Mycotek runs across the upper half in tall gold capitals. Lower down, a gold-framed panel carries the strain name Mokum in large white capitals beneath the word "Sclerotia", the net weight in GR (15 or 25) and the words "Magic Truffles". The address mycotek.co sits at the foot of the label.
15 g or 25 g
Two of the photos show a pouch face-on, one per weight, and the figure inside the gold frame is the quickest way to tell them apart. The third sets a single truffle beside the larger pouch: a rounded, knobbly piece, brown with beige patches. It illustrates what a sclerotium looks like; the label states a net weight, not a number of pieces.

What does "Sclerotia" on the Mokum pouch refer to?
It names the contents. A sclerotium is a dense resting body built from hardened mycelium, which many fungi produce to outlast poor conditions. Because it belongs to the mycelium, not to a fruiting body, it never develops a cap or a stem.
Which Mokum size is selected by default?
The 25 g pouch. To order 15 g instead, change the size before adding Mokum to your cart.
Does the label give a Psilocybe species?
No. Mokum is Mycotek's strain name, and the product title adds only the genus. GBIF lists Psilocybe (Fr.) P.Kumm. as an accepted genus in the Hymenogastraceae, order Agaricales; the species behind Mokum is not stated anywhere on the pack.
