Lion’s mane in the GBIF backbone
GBIF lists Hericium erinaceus (Bull.) Pers. as an accepted species of the family Hericiaceae, order Russulales. English checklists recorded there use lion’s mane mushroom, bearded tooth and hedgehog mushroom. The French national reference list gives hydne hérisson, and the German taxon list of the DGfM gives Igel-Stachelbart. The bottle prints the Latin name in its ingredient line, while the box carries the name Lions Mane.
