Reishi, lacquered bracket and Ganoderma lucidum
GBIF lists Ganoderma lucidum (Curtis) P.Karst. as an accepted species and, in its backbone taxonomy, places it in the family Polyporaceae, order Polyporales. The English name recorded in the UK Species Inventory and other checklists is lacquered bracket. French lists use ganoderme luisant, and the DGfM taxon list for Germany gives Glänzender Lackporling. Reishi is the trade name printed on the Mushinto box.
Red boxes, two sizes and other reishi products
On both bottle sizes, the large M and the Mushinto name are printed in orange on dark glass, and the boxes are red and white.
