Traditional use and composition
Acacia confusa, the Taiwan acacia, is a tree of the Fabaceae family, native to Taiwan, western Malesia and the Philippines. It is widely planted at low and middle altitudes in Taiwan.
According to the Taiwanese forestry agency, its wood was once used for firewood, railway sleepers, mine props, farm tools, furniture and ships. As for composition, the chemical literature has reported tryptamine-type alkaloids in the stems since the 1960s.

What the photos show

An acacia associated with Taiwan
Merrill published Acacia confusa in 1910 in the Philippine Journal of Science. The WCVP of the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, accepts it as a species of the Fabaceae, the legume family. Its native range includes Taiwan, the Philippines, Borneo, the Malay Peninsula and Sumatra; it is listed as introduced in, among other places, southern China, Vietnam, Myanmar, Hawaii, Mauritius and the Seychelles. Taiwan acacia, Formosan koa and small Philippine acacia are English names recorded by GBIF. The Made in Taiwan seal names the country where the product was made.
What "whole bark" means here
Whole means pieces that have not been ground, varying in size, curvature and surface. The label does not mention bark: the product name and the photos identify it. All three sizes hold the same material.
