WCVP gives a native range in northern South America: Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, Venezuela, Guyana, French Guiana and the North region of Brazil.
Uchu sanango and sananga
The supplier states that uchu sanango should not be confused with sananga root bark. The two differ in species and in plant part: the Katukina Sananga root bark in our range is labelled Tabernaemontana undulata and comes from Brazil, whereas this product is the wood of T. sananho from Peru.
