Roxinho, the purple wood
Roxinho is a Brazilian Portuguese name of Peltogyne angustiflora, a tree of the legume family (Fabaceae); GBIF also records the names pau-roxo and guarabu for it. The supplier names roxinho as one of the tropical hardwoods used for this kuripe and points to its purple hues, the colour of the purple tube in the photo. It does not say which part is roxinho or name the second wood, so we do not either.
