Hare Haux is a bamboo kuripe from the Tete Pawã studio and one of the rapé accessories at Mycotrop. The supplier names Kuntanawa artisans as its makers and places the studio in the upper Juruá region of Marechal Thaumaturgo, in the Brazilian state of Acre. Two yellow bamboo tubes form a V; where they meet, they are set in a rounded, modelled head. You can choose between two versions, black and grey.

Black or grey: the two versions
In the photo of the black version, the head is matt black and covered with rows of small curved scales that look like feathers, with an amber-brown stone set into its side. The grey version has a mottled grey and black head with angular, chevron-like relief lines and a small dark round stud. The supplier gives bamboo as the material and does not say what the head is made of. Each piece is made by hand, so the pattern and the stone differ slightly from one kuripe to the next.
A studio named after the harpy eagle
