Mint-green box, speckled stick
For the rosemary scent, the corrugated box is mint green, shown standing upright. Its Fênix label repeats the phoenix-and-yin-yang emblem and adds the scent name Alecrim in script and the date 1990, framed in black on white. The stick is what sets this pack apart: instead of a dark coating it has an olive-brown, speckled one with small plant particles visible, over a pale wooden core.
Rosemary as a plant name
Rosemary is the English vernacular name of Salvia rosmarinus, the accepted name in the World Checklist of Vascular Plants; the older name Rosmarinus officinalis is now listed as a synonym.
