Dream herb - Calea zacatechichi
Calea zacatechichi is commonly known as dream herb because it tends to produce very vivid or even lucid dreams.
Effects
While awake Calea produces a drowsy effect, and while asleep one may experience more intense dreams. The ingeneous people of Mexico consider Calea to be a visionary entheogen, although the effects are very subtle and no hallucinogenic alkaloid has been isolated yet.
Usage
Poor half a litre of hot water over 3 to 25 grams of the crushed dried leaves and let it steep for about 15 minutes. It tastes very bitter, so sweeten with a little sugar or honey. Drink the tea on a daily basis before going to bed.
