Handcrafted from Natural Bamboo and Resin
Each piece is shaped with care from sustainably sourced bamboo and resin, chosen for their durability and natural beauty. The kuripe is adorned with an authentic slice of Caapi vine, symbolizing its Amazonian roots and linking the user to the ancestral knowledge behind this sacred tradition.
Every Kuripe is One of a Kind
Because each Double Barrel Kuripe is handmade, no two are ever identical. Subtle variations in color, texture, and finish make every piece truly unique - a reflection of the artisan’s dedication and skill.
Crafted by Tete Pawã Artisans
Produced deep within the Amazon by the talented craftspeople of the Tete Pawã arts and medicine studio, these kuripes carry the essence of the forest itself. Located in the upper Juruá region of Marechal Thaumaturgo, the studio can only be reached by a two-day boat trip or a small plane - a reminder of the deep connection between this art and its origin. Since 2014, Tete Pawã has been creating exceptional handicrafts and some of the most respected Kuntanawa Rapés in the region.
An Expression of Amazonian Heritage
The Bamboo Kuripe - Double Barrel is more than a tool - it is a bridge between modern practice and ancient wisdom. Ideal for personal rituals or as a meaningful gift, it embodies the authenticity, balance, and craftsmanship of the Amazon.
